TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Company Information

ItalBoost is an online Italian language learning service operated by Davide Diana, VAT number

04294560133, based in Italy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using italboost.it and its services, you confirm that you have read, understood,

and fully accepted these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the

service.

3. Description of Service

ItalBoost provides the following Italian language learning services:

• Pre-recorded async courses accessible online (A1 to C1 levels)

• Live weekly group lessons via Zoom/Meet

• Private 1-to-1 lessons with the tutor

• Access to the learning management platform

• Digital learning materials and resources

4. Subscription Plans

ItalBoost offers the following monthly subscription plans:

• Basic — €19.99/month: access to all async courses from A1 to C1

• Premium — €39.00/month: async courses + weekly live group lesson

• Gold — €79.00/month: everything in Premium + 4 private lessons per month

All plans include a 3-day free trial. Prices include VAT where applicable.

5. Payment and Billing

Payments are processed via Stripe and PayPal, both PCI DSS certified platforms. Your subscription

renews automatically every month on the date of purchase, until you explicitly cancel it.

ItalBoost does not store credit card data on its servers. All payment data is handled entirely by

Stripe and PayPal in accordance with their respective privacy policies.6. Free Trial Period

All plans include a 3-day free trial. During this period, you have full access to the selected plan’s

content. At the end of the trial, the subscription activates automatically and the monthly fee is

charged.

You may cancel during the trial period without any charge.

7. Refund Policy

ItalBoost offers a full refund within 7 days of subscription activation (excluding the free trial period), if

you are not satisfied with the service.

To request a refund, contact info@italboost.it within 7 days of the charge, stating the reason for the

request. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days via the original payment method.

Refunds are not available after 7 days from activation, or for plans that have been cancelled and

reactivated.

8. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your personal account area on italboost.it or by

contacting info@italboost.it. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access

to content remains active until the expiry of the already-paid period.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on ItalBoost — including videos, texts, audio, images, learning materials and software —

is the exclusive property of ItalBoost or the respective licensors, and is protected by applicable

• Reproducing, distributing or selling content without written authorisation

• Sharing login credentials with third parties

• Downloading or recording lesson video content

• Using content for commercial purposes

10. User Conduct

You agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully. The following are prohibited:

• Sharing your account with other individuals

• Using the service for illegal or harmful purposes

• Interfering with the functioning of the platform

• Posting offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate content in group sessions

11. Limitation of Liability

ItalBoost strives to ensure continuity and quality of service, but cannot be held liable for:• Temporary service interruptions for maintenance or technical reasons

• User internet connection issues

• Failure to achieve specific learning objectives

• Indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service

12. Changes to Terms

ItalBoost reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be

communicated to users via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the

service after that period constitutes acceptance of the changes.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from the use of the service

shall first be subject to an attempt at amicable resolution. If no agreement is reached, the Court of

Milan shall have jurisdiction.

Privacy & Cookies

Pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended

by Legislative Decree 101/2018.

ItalBoost collects the following categories of personal data:

• Personal details: first name, last name, email address

• Login data: username and encrypted password

• Payment data: managed entirely by Stripe and PayPal (ItalBoost does not store card data)

• Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited (via technical cookies)

• Learning data: course progress, session participation

• Communications: emails sent to customer service

3. Purposes of Processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Providing the service and managing user accounts• Processing payments and managing subscriptions

• Service-related communications (confirmations, updates, support)

• Sending newsletters and promotional communications (with explicit consent only)

5. Data Retention

6. Data Sharing

ItalBoost does not sell or transfer personal data to third parties. Data may be shared with:

• Competent authorities when required by law

7. International Data Transfers

Some service providers (Stripe, PayPal, Google, Zoom) are based in the United States. Data

transfers to these countries are carried out in compliance with the guarantees provided by the

GDPR, through Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

8. Your Rights

Under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access: obtain confirmation of processing and a copy of your data

• Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data• Erasure (“right to be forgotten”): request deletion of your data

• Restriction: request temporary suspension of processing

• Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

• Objection: object to processing on legitimate grounds

• Withdrawal of consent: at any time, for purposes based on consent

9. Cookie Policy

ItalBoost uses the following categories of cookies:
